The must attend GBK Luxury Gift and Styling Lounge is visited by celebrities, stylists, models, buyers and industry VIP’s. The lounge featured fashion forward designs, products and pampering service, offering its exclusive list of invited celebrities, VIPs, and media an opportunity to explore new products and enjoy a luxury environment.

Celebrity and VIP guests made time between shows to visit the GBK Lounge. Some of this year’s guests were: Sherri Shepherd (“The View”) Angela Simmons (“Pastry” Shoes / “Run’s House”), Katrina Bowden (“30 Rock”),Countess LuAnn de Lesseps (“The Real Housewives New York”), Mark Cuban and the cast of (“Shark Tank“), Gordana Gelhausen, Mondo Guerra, Seth Aaron Henderson, Valerie Magen all from (“Project Runway”), Paul Sparks, HBO’s (“Boardwalk Empire”) Jennifer Ashton, ABC’s (“The Revolution”)Tamara Tunie, NBC’s( “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”) Olivia Culpo– Miss USA, Leila Lopes– Miss Universe, Jana Kramer CW’s (“One Tree Hill”), Nasim Pedrad (“Saturday Night Live”) and Fashion DesignerWalter Baker who snuck over to the lounge for a little indulgence after his show.

The marketing benefit for the luxury brands featured in the lounge is huge. Having a product fall in the hands of celebrities can help the brand gain tremendous exposure. The photographs of the celebrities with the gifts in the lounge that later appear in the media increase consumer awareness and likeability of the brand. Adding to this exposure is the impact of social media — pictures on Facebook fan pages and celebrities tweets about the gifts they received in the lounge. “Consumers are proven to follow the trends of celebrities, and embrace in their own lives the products that those they covet and admire use,” said Stacy Jones, president of Hollywood Branded, marketing group to the stars. “A celebrity seen with your brand allows you a presence that can impact your sales, and definitely increase consumer awareness of your brand.”
